In this section we assume you're new to BeLazy and that no one around you has experience with it. Before setting BeLazy up, let's take a quick look at how it works.
BeLazy syncs your connections at the required intervals, gathering all the work items - opportunities - offered to you from different platforms. With just one click or even automatically (based on the rules you set), BeLazy accepts the opportunity in the system and creates it in your business management system (BMS), following your usual workflow.
Once the project is in your BMS, you manage it as you normally would, while BeLazy keeps track of everything. If you're using an online translation management system (TMS), BeLazy can automatically handle the assignment of the translator, reviewer, and other team members. If there are files involved, it can also handle the delivery of translated files. When you or your vendor finish a job in one system, BeLazy closes the corresponding job in the other system for you.
Is it magic? Actually, no… It’s smart automation. Many people believe that every translation project is unique and can’t be automated. But the truth is, that project automation depends on clear instructions and well-defined details. Just as a good translation requires a clear source text, effective automation relies on well-structured project information.
Most TMS and vendor portals (VP) use "metadata" (structured data that describes a project). The key is to define how you want BeLazy to handle projects based on this metadata.

This approach is often called "exception-based project management" because it automates standard tasks while allowing you to handle only the exceptions manually.
