The Market Opportunities report describes the relationship between the opportunities that BeLazy detected in the portals, and the projects that were processed via BeLazy. It gives you a good idea of the type of projects you are receiving from the different sources, the unit prices, the task sizes, and what is automatically and what is manually approved.

Probably one of the most important aspects of this report is the built-in normalization: while different companies may call the same workflows differently, BeLazy tries to unify the naming - for example, revision, review, editing are all treated as one type of task. This makes the otherwise hard-to-compare data readily comparable.

BeLazy also describes outliers: how many projects could not be normalized because the amount was zero, the unit was something out of the ordinary, the workflow was something out of the ordinary, or the amount could not be normalized. Some systems offer pricing, others do not, and tasks that come without pricing are different from tasks where there is pricing, but the customer pays zero.

Currencies are also converted into either euro or USD in real time.

Besides graphical visualizations, time-based comparisons, and groupings by different aspects such as end customer, target language or connection, the report also offers a downloadable list of projects with all information, both normalized and original values.

This market is mostly useful for translation providers to keep a thumb on the pulse of their market. It shows data that never appears in any business management system, about projects that were offered but never accepted.

Use this report to fine-tune your auto-approval rules, or discuss the work offered with your customers.
