Any step of your BMS workflow can be done by a person or automatically. A step either has a human vendor, or an automated vendor: a translation provider with a preset. This works with whichever business management system you use. It is currently available for projects where BeLazy creates the TMS project in the TMS Processing Hub (Into TMS). For projects that come from a customer's TMS (From TMS), you can build automated steps with the AI Hub APIs.

How an automated step runs

BeLazy exports the content of the step from your TMS, has the provider process it, imports the result back into the TMS and closes the BMS job, so the workflow continues. You do not need a vendor on the job in your BMS: BeLazy takes care of it.

Setting it up

  1. Add a provider. Open Translation Providers in the profile menu and add your provider and its presets. See DeepL translation provider.
  2. Represent every step in your BMS. Each step, manual or automated, needs its own step in your BMS workflow. In Plunet, XTRF or Protemos this means adding it to the workflow description, like any other step. See Workflow mapping.
  3. Mark the step as automated. In the onboarding of the connection, on the Workflows page, map the steps as usual. On the BMS step that should be automated, click the translation icon and choose the Translation preset. Presets are grouped by provider. Switching a step to automated removes the step's other settings, and only the preset stays. A step without the icon stays manual.

Exceptions work the same way as in the rest of the workflow mapping, so different workflows can use different presets.
